Telegram alerts guide

Coperral only sends alerts to members who have linked Telegram. This page lists what arrives and when, what never arrives, and how to turn each type on or off.

How alerts reach you

Link Telegram from your dashboard settings and the alert bot delivers messages to the linked chat. Without linking, nothing is sent. Once linked, every type below can be toggled individually; everything defaults to on.

Account alerts

Things that happened on your own account.

Payback credited

Sent when a settlement lands and payback accrues to your account.

Payout status

Sent at each step of a withdrawal: received, approved, rejected, and completed.

Example✅ Payout complete: 50 USDT has been sent.

Market alerts

Sent only when the market enters an unusual state. Not every indicator on the site sends alerts: metrics that change every day (market cap, dominance, and similar) carry no signal as a DM, so they never do.

Economic release heads-up

One DM each at 30 and 10 minutes before high-impact economic releases such as US CPI and jobs data.

Fear & Greed extremes

When sentiment reaches either end (15 or below, 85 or above). Rare within a cycle.

Funding overheated

When perp funding tilts hard one way (±0.05% or more per 8h). A crowding signal.

Example⚡ BTC funding at +0.0620%: longs overheated (longs pay shorts).

Kimchi premium breakout

When Korean exchange prices run more than +5% above global, or fall to −2% or lower. At most one alert of this kind every 6 hours.

Long/short crowding

When the long/short account ratio tilts more than 1.5x to one side.

Example📊 BTC long/short ratio 1.62: longs are crowded.

Drawdown milestones

When Bitcoin comes back within 5% of its all-time high, or drops below 50% from it.

Example📈 Bitcoin is -3.2% from its all-time high, back near the top.

Options put/call skew

When BTC options open interest tilts clearly toward puts or calls.

Example🧭 BTC options put/call 1.24: put-heavy (downside hedging).

When alerts fire

  • Market alerts send one message the moment a state is entered. Nothing repeats while the state persists; leaving and re-entering triggers it again.
  • A market alert of the same type is sent at most once every 6 hours, so values wobbling around a threshold don't spam you. Account alerts (accruals, payouts) are sent per event.
  • Economic release alerts cover high-impact releases only, once at 30 minutes and once at 10 minutes before the release.
  • No data, no alert. A quiet inbox does not by itself mean a quiet market.

Turning alerts on and off

Every type has its own switch in the notifications section of your dashboard settings. Send /stop to the bot, or unlink Telegram in settings, to stop everything at once.
