Bybit Guide

A step-by-step guide from signup to Coperral linking.

  1. Start with a new account

    1 / 4

Payback activates only when you sign up with the Coperral code. Follow the steps below.

    1. 1
Tap 'Sign up' on the Coperral Bybit page. The referral code is applied automatically.
    2. 2
Create an account with your email or phone number.
    3. 3
      Set a password and two-factor authentication (2FA).
    4. 4
After signing up, check that the Coperral code appears in your referral details.
Signup and use are possible in Korea (Bybit does not classify Korea as restricted). Direct Korean won (KRW) deposits/withdrawals are limited, so crypto deposits such as USDT are common. Korean withdrawals/transfers go through Travel Rule verification and may take longer (from early 2026, the removal of Korea's 1M KRW threshold means it applies to all transactions).
  2. Complete KYC

    2 / 4

Whether KYC is required, and the limits, vary by exchange. Check the steps and the exchange-specific note below.

    1. 1
Prepare a government ID (passport or driver's license).
    2. 2
In the Bybit app/web, go to Account > Verification (KYC).
    3. 3
Follow the prompts to capture and submit your ID and a facial verification.
    4. 4
Approval usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
Yes, required. Since May 2023, KYC applies to all services (deposits, trading, and withdrawals included); without it, new trading is not possible (only withdrawal of existing funds). Three tiers: Standard (government-issued ID + selfie, 5-10 min, daily withdrawal limit about 1M USDT) / Advanced (adds proof of address from the last 3 months, higher limit) / Pro (institutions/large amounts, income proof, survey). Korean users need at least Standard verification for all products. Accepted IDs include passport, resident registration cards, driver's license, and residence permits - documents with a photo, name, date of birth, number, and issue date.
  3. Check and link your UID

    3 / 4

Register your exchange UID with Coperral to start earning payback.

    • Web (desktop): After logging in, hover over the profile icon at the top right; the dropdown menu shows your UID. Copy it with the copy button next to it.
    • Web (detail): Profile icon > Account page > you can also check your UID under the Account Info tab.
    • Mobile app: Tap the profile icon at the top left (or in the navigation bar); your UID is near your name/nickname. Copy it with the copy icon next to it. (Depending on the app version, it may appear after entering 'Account.')
    • Menu names (Profile, Account, Account Info) may vary by app/web version and language setting, but the 'profile icon > account' path is common.
Found your UID? One last step: register it under My account on Coperral, and payback starts accruing once verification completes.Link UID
  4. Check if your existing account qualifies

    4 / 4

Most exchanges do not allow changing the referrer on an existing account. The exceptions and alternatives are laid out below.

    • Bottom line: after signup, a referral code cannot be changed or canceled. Once registered it is permanently fixed, and support cannot change it.
    • Exception: via the 'Join an Affiliate's Community' feature, you can manually add a code only within 14 days of signup. Conditions: (1) within 14 days of signup, (2) no Affiliate/Referral code registered yet, (3) main account only, (4) only an 'Affiliate Program code' can be added (a regular user's Referral code cannot).
    • How to add (web): Profile icon > Account > Account Info tab > click 'Join an Affiliate's Community' > enter the Coperral affiliate code and a reason, then submit.
    • Caution: if another referral code was entered at signup or 14 days have passed, transfer to the Coperral code is not possible. Signing up with the Coperral code on a new account is then the only way, but duplicate accounts by the same person carry KYC constraints/violation risk and are not recommended. To be safe, ask Coperral support or Bybit support first.
    • Travel Rule note: the Korea Travel Rule requires sender/receiver info on inter-exchange transfers and is unrelated to referral code transfer (it does not affect whether the code can be changed).
If you switch by creating a new account, moving assets via a Korean exchange may involve extra steps under the Travel Rule, such as identity verification.
Bybit allows one KYC per person. If you already have a verified account, the same ID cannot verify a new one.

This guide is based on each exchange's official help center and public materials, but exchange app/web UIs and policies change frequently. If menu names or locations differ, follow the exchange's customer support or the latest in-app screens.

Frequently asked about Bybit signup

How do I sign up for Bybit, step by step?

Open Bybit from the link on this page so the Coperral code is applied, create the account with your email or phone number, finish KYC verification, then return to your Coperral dashboard and link your UID. The steps above show what each screen asks for.

How do I log in to Bybit?

Log in on Bybit's own site or app with the email or phone number you registered. Coperral never asks for your exchange password or login details, and account recovery is handled by Bybit support rather than by us.

Does Bybit have a mobile app?

Signup and UID linking work the same on mobile and on the web. Download the app only from Bybit's official site or your device's app store, because fake exchange apps do circulate.

Is there a Bybit signup bonus or invitation code?

Promotions are set by the exchange and change often, so we do not promise a bonus here. What Coperral provides is separate and ongoing: once your UID is linked, part of the trading fees you pay comes back to you in USDT. Enter the Coperral code in the referral field during signup.
