Bybit Guide

A step-by-step guide from signup to Coperral linking.

1. New signup

The first step: sign up with the Coperral code to activate payback.

1Tap the 'Signup link' on the Coperral Bybit page and the referral code is applied automatically.
2Create an account with your email or phone number.
3Set a password and two-factor authentication (2FA).
4After signup, confirm that the Coperral code was applied.
Signup and use are possible in Korea (Bybit does not classify Korea as a restricted country). However, support for direct Korean won (KRW) deposits/withdrawals is limited, and crypto deposits such as USDT are common. On Korean withdrawals/transfers, Travel Rule verification applies and processing may take longer (from early 2026, the abolition of Korea's 1M KRW Travel Rule threshold means it applies to all transactions).

2. KYC verification

Complete the exchange's identity verification to enable withdrawals and settlement.

1Prepare a government ID (passport or driver's license).
2In the Bybit app/web, go to Account > Verification (KYC).
3Follow the prompts to capture and submit your ID and a facial verification.
4Approval usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
Since May 2023, KYC is required for all services (including deposits, trading, and withdrawals). Without verification, new trading is not possible (only withdrawal of existing funds is allowed). Verification has 3 tiers: Standard (government-issued ID + selfie, 5-10 min, daily withdrawal limit about 1M USDT) / Advanced (adds proof of address, higher limit, proofs within the last 3 months) / Pro (for institutions/large amounts, income proof, survey). For Korean users, at least Standard verification is required to use all products. Accepted IDs include passport, resident registration cards, driver's license, residence permit, etc. - documents containing a photo, name, date of birth, number, and issue date.

3. Find and link your UID

Register your exchange UID with Coperral to start earning payback.

1Web (desktop): After logging in, hover over the profile icon at the top right and the dropdown menu shows your UID. Copy it with the copy button next to it.
2Web (detail): Profile icon > Account page > you can also check your UID under the Account Info tab.
3Mobile app: Tap the profile icon at the top left (or in the navigation bar) > your UID is shown near your name/nickname > copy it with the copy icon next to it. (Depending on the app version, it may appear after entering 'Account.')
4Note: Menu names (Profile, Account, Account Info) may vary by app/web version and language setting, but the 'profile icon > account' path is common.

4. REF transfer (existing accounts)

Even if you already have an account, you may be able to switch your referral to Coperral.

1Rule: Bybit does not allow changing or canceling your referral code after signup. Once registered it's permanently fixed, and support cannot change it.
2However, there is an exception - via the 'Join an Affiliate's Community' feature, you can manually add a code only within 14 days of signup. Conditions: (1) within 14 days of signup, (2) an account with no Affiliate/Referral code registered yet, (3) main account only, (4) you can only add an 'Affiliate Program code' (a regular user's Referral code is not allowed).
3How to add (web): Profile icon > Account > Account Info tab > click 'Join an Affiliate's Community' > enter the Coperral affiliate code and reason, then submit.
4Caution: If a different referral code was already entered at signup or 14 days have passed, transfer to the Coperral code is not possible. In that case, signing up with the Coperral code when creating a new account is the only way (however, duplicate accounts by the same person may have KYC constraints/violation risk and are not recommended - to be safe, ask the Coperral support team or Bybit support first).
5Travel Rule note: The Korea Travel Rule regulation requires sharing sender/receiver info on inter-exchange transfers and is unrelated to referral code transfer (it does not affect whether the referral code can be changed).
Exchanges subject to the Travel Rule may have extra steps such as identity verification and withdrawal limits.

This guide is based on each exchange's official help center and public materials, but exchange app/web UIs and policies change frequently. If menu names or locations differ, follow the exchange's customer support or the latest in-app screens.
