A step-by-step guide from signup to Coperral linking.

1. New signup

The first step: sign up with the Coperral code to activate payback.

1Tap the 'Signup link' on the Coperral CoinW page and the referral code is applied automatically.
2Create an account with your email or phone number.
3Set a password and two-factor authentication (2FA).
4After signup, confirm that the Coperral code was applied.
Sign up with email or phone number + password. Basic trading (deposit/trade/some withdrawals) is possible without KYC (no-KYC). The US, UK, and Japan are blocked from service (using a VPN to bypass risks account suspension). Korea appears on some restricted-country lists, but sources are inconsistent and unclear - confirm whether signup is possible at the actual time of signup. Official Korean UI support may also change, so verify separately.

2. KYC verification

Complete the exchange's identity verification to enable withdrawals and settlement.

1Prepare a government ID (passport or driver's license).
2In the CoinW app/web, go to Account > Verification (KYC).
3Follow the prompts to capture and submit your ID and a facial verification.
4Approval usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
Verification has 4 tiers: Unverified / C1 basic / C2 primary / C3 advanced. Trading and withdrawals are possible even while unverified (unverified daily withdrawal about 2 BTC). C1 requires nationality/name/date of birth/ID info + an ID photo upload (raises the daily withdrawal limit); C2 raises the limit further (some products/services require C2 or higher); C3 (advanced) has a 100 BTC daily limit and can only be completed in the CoinW mobile app (includes facial verification). Real-name verification age limit is 16-75, and only IDs valid for at least 3 more months are accepted. Limits reset every 24 hours. (Figures/requirements may change with exchange policy.)

3. Find and link your UID

Register your exchange UID with Coperral to start earning payback.

1App: Open the CoinW app > tap the account (profile) icon at the top left of the home screen > enter the Personal Center > your UID is shown at the top of the screen.
2Web: Log in to coinw.com > hover over (or click) the profile icon at the top right > check your UID at the top of the expanded menu.
3The UID is a numeric unique member number; long-press it or use the copy icon next to it to copy it for payback registration. (Menu names/icon positions may vary by app version.)

4. REF transfer (existing accounts)

Even if you already have an account, you may be able to switch your referral to Coperral.

1CoinW does not officially provide a feature to change or retroactively apply a referrer (invite code) after signup is complete. The referrer can only be entered at signup (registration).
2Therefore, if you already have a CoinW account with an empty referrer or one registered with a different code, 'transferring' to the Coperral code is impossible in principle.
3Option 1: Create a new account with a new email/phone and enter the Coperral referrer/invite code at the signup step. (Since only one UID per exchange can be linked for payback, link via the new account.)
4Option 2: If it's unclear whether a change is possible, contact CoinW support (in-app/web chat or help center) directly to ask whether the referrer can be changed. However, it's usually answered as not possible.
5Travel Rule: There is no Korea Travel Rule issue directly related to referrer transfer at CoinW (an overseas exchange). However, sending 1M KRW or more from a domestic exchange (Upbit, Bithumb, etc.) to CoinW is subject to the Travel Rule, so a withdrawal-exchange selection/address-registration procedure may be needed (the deposit itself and referrer change are separate matters).
Exchanges subject to the Travel Rule may have extra steps such as identity verification and withdrawal limits.

This guide is based on each exchange's official help center and public materials, but exchange app/web UIs and policies change frequently. If menu names or locations differ, follow the exchange's customer support or the latest in-app screens.
