CoinW Guide

A step-by-step guide from signup to Coperral linking.

  1. Start with a new account

    1 / 4

Payback activates only when you sign up with the Coperral code. Follow the steps below.

    1. 1
Tap 'Sign up' on the Coperral CoinW page. The referral code is applied automatically.
    2. 2
Create an account with your email or phone number.
    3. 3
      Set a password and two-factor authentication (2FA).
    4. 4
After signing up, check that the Coperral code appears in your referral details.
Sign up with email or phone number + password; basic use (deposits/trading/some withdrawals) works without KYC. Caution: the US, UK, and Japan are blocked (bypassing with a VPN risks account suspension), and Korea appears on some restricted-country lists, but sources are inconsistent - confirm availability at the actual time of signup. Official Korean UI support may also change, so verify separately.
  2. Complete KYC

    2 / 4

Whether KYC is required, and the limits, vary by exchange. Check the steps and the exchange-specific note below.

    1. 1
Prepare a government ID (passport or driver's license).
    2. 2
In the CoinW app/web, go to Account > Verification (KYC).
    3. 3
Follow the prompts to capture and submit your ID and a facial verification.
    4. 4
Approval usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
No - trading and withdrawals work even unverified (unverified daily withdrawal about 2 BTC). Verification has 4 tiers (Unverified / C1 basic / C2 primary / C3 advanced): C1 (nationality/name/date of birth/ID info + ID photo) raises the daily withdrawal limit; C2 raises it further (some products/services require C2 or higher); C3 (advanced) has a 100 BTC daily limit and can only be completed in the CoinW mobile app (includes facial verification). Real-name verification is limited to ages 16-75, only IDs valid for at least 3 more months are accepted, and limits reset every 24 hours. (Figures/requirements may change with policy.)
  3. Check and link your UID

    3 / 4

Register your exchange UID with Coperral to start earning payback.

    • App: Open the CoinW app, tap the account (profile) icon at the top left of the home screen, and enter the Personal Center; your UID is shown at the top of the screen.
    • Web: Log in to coinw.com and hover over (or click) the profile icon at the top right; your UID is at the top of the expanded menu.
    • The UID is a numeric unique member number. Long-press it or use the copy icon next to it, and use it for payback registration. (Menu names/icon positions may vary by app version.)
Found your UID? One last step: register it under My account on Coperral, and payback starts accruing once verification completes.Link UID
  4. Check if your existing account qualifies

    4 / 4

Most exchanges do not allow changing the referrer on an existing account. The exceptions and alternatives are laid out below.

    • Bottom line: if you already have a CoinW account (whether the referrer is empty or set to another code), transferring to the Coperral code is impossible in principle. A referrer can only be entered at signup, and CoinW does not officially offer post-signup changes or retroactive application.
    • Recommended: create a new account with a new email/phone and enter the Coperral referrer/invite code at the signup step. (Only one UID per exchange can be linked for payback, so link the new account.)
    • If unsure, ask CoinW support (in-app/web chat or help center) directly whether the referrer can be changed. The usual answer is no.
    • Travel Rule: referrer transfer itself has no direct Korea Travel Rule issue. However, sending 1M KRW or more from a Korean exchange (Upbit, Bithumb, etc.) to CoinW is subject to the Travel Rule, so a withdrawal-exchange selection/address-registration step may be needed.
If you switch by creating a new account, moving assets via a Korean exchange may involve extra steps under the Travel Rule, such as identity verification.
CoinW allows one KYC per person. If you already have a verified account, the same ID cannot verify a new one.

This guide is based on each exchange's official help center and public materials, but exchange app/web UIs and policies change frequently. If menu names or locations differ, follow the exchange's customer support or the latest in-app screens.

Frequently asked about CoinW signup

How do I sign up for CoinW, step by step?

Open CoinW from the link on this page so the Coperral code is applied, create the account with your email or phone number, finish KYC verification, then return to your Coperral dashboard and link your UID. The steps above show what each screen asks for.

How do I log in to CoinW?

Log in on CoinW's own site or app with the email or phone number you registered. Coperral never asks for your exchange password or login details, and account recovery is handled by CoinW support rather than by us.

Does CoinW have a mobile app?

Signup and UID linking work the same on mobile and on the web. Download the app only from CoinW's official site or your device's app store, because fake exchange apps do circulate.

Is there a CoinW signup bonus or invitation code?

Promotions are set by the exchange and change often, so we do not promise a bonus here. What Coperral provides is separate and ongoing: once your UID is linked, part of the trading fees you pay comes back to you in USDT. Enter the Coperral code in the referral field during signup.
