MEXC Guide

A step-by-step guide from signup to Coperral linking.

  1. Start with a new account

    1 / 4

Payback activates only when you sign up with the Coperral code. Follow the steps below.

    1. 1
Tap 'Sign up' on the Coperral MEXC page. The referral code is applied automatically.
    2. 2
Create an account with your email or phone number.
    3. 3
      Set a password and two-factor authentication (2FA).
    4. 4
After signing up, check that the Coperral code appears in your referral details.
It is safest to enter the referral code at the signup step. Post-signup linking is only possible within 30 days and cannot be changed once linked, so enter the Coperral code from the start. A Korean interface is supported. Note: MEXC's standard user referral (friend invite) discount cap is usually around 10-20%. Coperral operates on an official affiliate agreement, which allows a higher payback, so be cautious of anywhere advertising far above that cap through a regular referral code.
  2. Complete KYC

    2 / 4

Whether KYC is required, and the limits, vary by exchange. Check the steps and the exchange-specific note below.

    1. 1
Prepare a government ID (passport or driver's license).
    2. 2
In the MEXC app/web, go to Account > Verification (KYC).
    3. 3
Follow the prompts to capture and submit your ID and a facial verification.
    4. 4
Approval usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
Not for trading alone, but Korean users effectively need it. Spot/futures trading works without KYC, but features like withdrawals are restricted, and with the Travel Rule in effect, KYC on MEXC is effectively required for deposits/withdrawals with Korean exchanges. There are 2 levels: Basic KYC (nationality/name/ID/date of birth, ~24 hours) gives a 24-hour withdrawal limit of about 80 BTC; Advanced KYC (adds real-time facial recognition, ~48 hours) about 200 BTC.
  3. Check and link your UID

    3 / 4

Register your exchange UID with Coperral to start earning payback.

    • Web: After logging in, click the profile icon at the top right and select [Identification]; your UID is shown along with KYC info. Click the UID number to copy it.
    • App: Tap the profile icon at the top left (or right), tap [>] next to your nickname, and check your UID on the account/KYC info screen. It is shown near your nickname/email.
    • The UID is a unique identifier assigned automatically at signup. The menu name (Identification/account info, etc.) may vary by app version.
Found your UID? One last step: register it under My account on Coperral, and payback starts accruing once verification completes.Link UID
  4. Check if your existing account qualifies

    4 / 4

Most exchanges do not allow changing the referrer on an existing account. The exceptions and alternatives are laid out below.

    • Bottom line: only an account within 30 days of signup and with no referrer yet can self-service link Coperral as its referrer (official policy). Past 30 days, or with another referrer already linked, it cannot be changed.
    • If within 30 days: go to Help Center > [Self-Service Referrer Linking](https://www.mexc.com/support/bind-inviter), enter Coperral's referral code or UID, and link. Once linked, it cannot be changed afterward (permanent).
    • Linking is not possible when: the referrer signed up later than you, the same identity info was used, the code/UID does not exist, or it is a sub-account (main account only).
    • For accounts that cannot change, we recommend creating a new account with the Coperral referral code (withdraw/move existing assets to the new account and use it there).
    • When moving assets to the new account: transfers from a Korean exchange to MEXC are subject to the Travel Rule, so the new MEXC account also needs KYC completion before deposits/withdrawals with Korean exchanges are possible.
If you switch by creating a new account, moving assets via a Korean exchange may involve extra steps under the Travel Rule, such as identity verification.
MEXC allows up to two accounts per ID document. Even with an existing account, you can create a new one with the Coperral code and verify it.

This guide is based on each exchange's official help center and public materials, but exchange app/web UIs and policies change frequently. If menu names or locations differ, follow the exchange's customer support or the latest in-app screens.

Frequently asked about MEXC signup

How do I sign up for MEXC, step by step?

Open MEXC from the link on this page so the Coperral code is applied, create the account with your email or phone number, finish KYC verification, then return to your Coperral dashboard and link your UID. The steps above show what each screen asks for.

How do I log in to MEXC?

Log in on MEXC's own site or app with the email or phone number you registered. Coperral never asks for your exchange password or login details, and account recovery is handled by MEXC support rather than by us.

Does MEXC have a mobile app?

Signup and UID linking work the same on mobile and on the web. Download the app only from MEXC's official site or your device's app store, because fake exchange apps do circulate.

Is there a MEXC signup bonus or invitation code?

Promotions are set by the exchange and change often, so we do not promise a bonus here. What Coperral provides is separate and ongoing: once your UID is linked, part of the trading fees you pay comes back to you in USDT. Enter the Coperral code in the referral field during signup.
